During the conference ‘Shaping the future of the ESF – ESF and Europe 2020’, which took place in Brussels in June stakeholders were debating on the new shape of the European Social Fund in the context of Europe 2020 Strategy and the new financial perspective 2014-2020.

From the speeches presented by the Commissionner for Employment, Social Affairs and Inclusion - Mr. László Andor emerge plans for redefining of the role of the ESF in order to tailor it to the current social and economic situation in EU member states and the Strategy priorities, where employment issues and social inclusion are of considerable importance.

European Network on Financial Instruments started to act - study visit in Hungary PDF Imprimir E-Mail

1243239584_dscn1267.jpgFirst member meeting of the European Network of Financial Instruments took place on 18-19th of May 2009 in Budapest, together with the study visit in Hungary. Visit was organised by the Network’s Secretariat (Information Office of the Wielkopolska Region in Brussels) together with the Hungarian Ministry of National Development and Economy and it was devoted to the Hungarian model of implementation of the financial instrument JEREMIE. It was attended  by more than 30 participants from: Hungary, Latvia, Czech Republic, Lombardy, Andalusia, Wales and from the Polish Regions: Lower Silesia, Pomerania, Wielkopolska, West Pomerania and also representatives of the European Commission and European Investment Fund.
